After 3 boys, we were hoping for a girl - but another boy would have been OK. Katie Anne Thompson was born 15 July 1986, in Glendora, California. When we called Nana (Anne Thiel) from the hospital to tell her 
that we had a girl, she screamed!
that we had a girl, she screamed!Ryan was the first one to see Katie. One of the grandmas brought him to the hospital to see her in her little bed.
The photo at right is of Katie at about 3 months of age. She had dark hair and blue eyes (which would later change to green at about 5 years).
